These earrings were created from solid copper sheet and then patterned with the peacock feather motif using a rolling mill.  The metal "feather" dangles from a neutral brown jasper bead to complete the design.  Hand forged copper earwires were added and the earrings were oxidized, buffed and polished for that rustic look. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to preserve the patina and resist tarnishing.
